Match Report Press Report

Chichester Vets 2 Lost to Winchester Vets 1 in a one-sided match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 5 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Iain Cleland, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 59 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Iain Cleland.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 3 string, George Kousseff, gaining 40 Ranking Points from the match.
